Thought this event deserved its own separate post. As soon as the Mariners schedule came out this past spring, the first thing I did was check to see when they'd be coming to Baltimore to play the Orioles. The three game stretch was August 6-8. We had originally planned to take the trailer up there and camp out for all three days to attend all the games, but plans changed and we were only able to manage one game. Drove the normally hour and a half drive and made it there in the midst of afternoon traffic in just about three hours...ugh. But it was worth it. Not only got to see our beloved Mariners play ball, but also got to experience a little bit of Baltimore and see a famous ball park, Camden Yards. We left the game early to get on the road before the crowd let out, the Ms had lost a five run lead and Baltimore tied it up, so we figured it was a good time to jet. Turns out, it went into extra innings and Baltimore won it in the 14th. DANG IT! As it was, we didnt get home til midnight that night, but it was well worth it. The food wasn't that great, and it definitely doesn't compare to Safeco, it lacks the awesome view and energy, but still happy to have been there, it was a little bit of "home" on the east coast and we look forward to next year's game stretch.

We were told that Griffey's homerun was documented somewhere in the park and we actually found it!
So, of course, it was worth getting down on the ground for this snapshot :)
One of my favorite places, enjoying one of my favorite things
The sunset was pretty amazing that night
