Boys Bunk Beds

We decided it would be best to have Scotty and Zac share a room once baby arrives, so this weekend the transition began.  Our neighbors, Josh & Steph, graciously gave us a beautiful cherry bunk bed set and even set it up where I wanted it in the boys room.  So far, the boys have slept the past two nights in their new arrangements and it has gone smoothly.  They are really enjoying this new playground.  Now I can really start prepping baby's room and finally stop stressing about getting things done!!

Baseball 2010 Has Begun!

Scotty and I went on a mommy-son date to our first Mariners game of the season last Friday.  I bought tickets for this night because it was the Ken Griffey Jr Bobblehead giveaway....first 30,000 through the gates received one.  We were lucky enough to each get one and Scotty will be taking his to show and tell this week at school.  We had cruddy seats, way up in the 300 level.

Actually, Scotty thought it was cool to be that high up, but when we started getting packed in like sardines, I decided to move us up to the very top of the section, as far as you can go in the ballpark and even then it was getting crowded.  We kept having to move seats as people with the real tickets for those seats came to sit.  UGH!  Who actually gets tickets for that high up!?!?  I guess when it's a Ken Griffey Jr giveaway, people will buy any ticket.  Thus, we just decided to go get a snack and walk around.  They have TV monitors everywhere, so I would still be able to see the game and hear it.  So as we were standing there at one of the monitors, eating our strawberry kabobs, a lady approached us and asked if was just the two of us tonight.  At first I got nervous and thought we were in a restricted area and immediately started to grab Scotty and go, but she said no, she was from the "diamond club" and was sent up to the third level to look for two people who might want better seats.  WHAT?!!?  She handed me tickets that were in the section right behind home plate on the first level.  SWEET!  We were on our own platform and everything, so no one was in our bubble.  It was so cool!  Scotty paid much better attention to the game and was actually involved in it because it was much closer and I got to actually watch the game.  We had a great night!  GO MARINERS!
Much better view :)
