My brother works for the Seattle Sounders soccer club and sent the boys some t-shirts. Here they are showing their team spirit. Thanks Uncle!
Took all three boys to their new dentist and was amazed at how beautiful and downright brilliant the design of the office was! The dentist, Dr. Golden, is awesome and has worked with kids for over 30 years. Even Trev had his first appointment and didn't fuss or scream at all. It helped that they shoo'ed me out of the area, but I really was surprised at how well he did. The waiting area is huge with a ton of toys and video games and TV. And when they take you back into the "examination" area, its more of the same - play rooms and toys and space for a two year old to wander all over the place.
Each play area had a video game console
There were several play areas once they were taken behind the doors where they do the cleanings. The set up is brilliant and makes it very convenient for the doc to chat with parents while the kids play.
Beautiful office - thanks for the referral Mona!
Even complete with a puppy on site
I finally signed the boys up for swim lessons, so for three weeks straight, they took lessons every day and they really had a blast. Both have made a lot of progress and I hope to continue with the lessons, it is such an important skill. When I was younger, we would walk miles thru a canyon to get to the pool at Admiral Baker's Field in San Diego. No parents, no swim lessons. If we wanted to jump off the diving board and swim in the deep end, we had to show we could swim back and forth twice across the length of the pool. That was my incentive to learn to swim! And it did help that we went almost every weekend, so if you didn't know how to swim, you missed out. At any rate, it is time my boys learn to swim.
He's in the 10 foot end, so they made them wear life jackets
Diving Board!!
As promised, Zac has been taking horse riding lessons at a place not too far from us called Cross States Stables. He is in horse heaven each time he gets to go and be around these amazing animals.
So serious, gettin' to work

The Prince William County Fair was in town and of course we had to take the boys. It was just a small little affair, but they had a blast. It lacked the pro-rodeo event that our county fair in Washington has every year and we surely missed that, but it had all the typical fair food, games and rickety rides...was a fun family night out :)
Poor Trev is too little for rides yet, so he gets to watch
This was not good at all....(sigh...)
Best part about rides at the fair is riding them at night!
Cannot manage to leave the fair without a cheesy, expensive toy that quits working by the time we get home...
