Friend Monica invited us to come to her town of Herndon where they were having "Herndon Truck Days". The city put together about 20 of their utility big rigs and allowed kids to sit in the drivers seats, push buttons, honk horns and climb all over them...I let Scotty skip school this day so that he could go along because I knew he'd love it, and they indeed had so much fun. After that we headed to lunch and then treked over to a place called Frying Pan Farms and the boys had a good time running around looking at the animals. Though, Zac was disappointed he did not get access to the horses- the stalls were closed for groooming. But it was a great time and good to hang out with Monica and Jake for the day!

This peacock was trying so hard to impress the ladies -- to no avail.
They ended up leaving this pen and going over to the turkey pen. Haha!
But it was cool to see his pretty feathers all fanned out, Monica and I were impressed :)
