O.M.G....
Honestly, I spent part of the night wondering what the heck I was doing at a Lady GaGa concert and the other part with my jaw dropped staring at all the "interesting folks" surrounding me. Seriously had to keep my expressions in check. What did I expect, you ask? Yes, I should've known it was going to be crazy and expected it to be a bit weird....in fact, maybe that was part of the reason I agreed to go, curiosity. If I was a bigger fan of hers, maybe I would've been more prepared. I knew I would see some outlandish stuff because that's what she is, but if I see one more group of men in their underwear and high heels, I may cry. There are a lot of freakshows in this world and about 15,000 of them were in Tacoma last night.
I thought my purple-patent leather shoes were fabulous, until I saw a man wearing similar ones that were twice as high....
I had to laugh at the thought of bringing Jay to such an event. I would've lost him before we even entered the dome. My neighbor brought her 13 year old daughter and I was mortified at what she was being exposed to. I wanted to plug her ears and cover her eyes most of the evening! As for the concert itself, it was entertaining to say the least. There's no question that she's talented, she's just a little too out there for me. I guess I'm too old for this stuff. I just need to take my family, move to the country and listen to George Strait...with my purple heels of course :)
