We celebrated the holiday BBQ'ing with family and friends on the 3rd, at our friends house that overlooks the bay and enjoyed the annual 3rd of July fireworks display. Then on the 4th, most all of our closest neighbors joined in a block party where we played volleyball, listened to live music and indulged in lots of great food, topping it off with our own fireworks right here in the comfort of our own cul de sac. It was the best 4th we've had in a long time. Just a year ago we were new to the neighborhood and didn't know a soul, so to be partying with them this year was super cool. We are so blessed to be living in this country, the greatest land of all, and so fortunate to have the freedom to celebrate it! God Bless America!!
